Curriculum > Islamic Studies

As the school adheres to the requirements of the Ministry of Education for all subjects taught in the Arabic language, The Islamic Education Department is no exception and follows the curricula of the Ministry as well. In our efforts to ensure all students physical, mental, psychological, and emotional needs are met, the department applied co-curricular activities that deepen the religious awareness of students in all levels.

Additional activities include:

* Annual Qur’an Competition, which encourages students to memorize Qur’an.

* Annual Hajj Activity, which raises awareness of the fifth pillar of Islam and teaches the application of Hajj rituals as prescribed by the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

* Use of the school’s Prayer Room and encouraging students to perform the noon prayer.

* Applying active learning strategies in the classroom to support the curriculum and engage students in their learning.
